WADE LINGER

Wade Linger ‘s IT experience began as a programmer for the USAF Tactical Air Command. He then became a technical manager for ManTech where he led a team supporting the US Navy aircraft maintenance systems. In the mid 1990’s he established TMC Technologies, Inc in Fairmont, West Virginia as its President, until it was acquired in 2005. In 2010, he established TMC Technologies of West Virginia, Corp. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Leo University, Florida.

As TMC’s President and CEO, Wade plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic agenda each year, encompassing high-level budgeting, forecasting, growth strategies, new initiatives, and long-term business planning. Furthermore, he serves as the company's prominent representative. Wade adopts the Management by Walking Around (MBWA) management approach to foster better communication and nurture worker-manager relationships, promoting a focused approach to operations, and elevating overall efficiency.

Wade has an extensive history of community leadership and volunteerism, exemplified by his active membership in the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, where he previously served as Chairman, and his role as a Scout leader. He also contributed significantly to education and engineering excellence, serving on West Virginia University's College of Engineering Advisory Council for several years and endowing a scholarship at WVU for Biometrics students during his ownership of TMC Technologies. In 2008, he was appointed to the WV State Board of Education by Governor Joe Manchin, later assuming a position on the West Virginia School Building Authority in 2011. Wade was elected as President of the WV State School Board in 2012, a role he held for two years before resigning from both the State Board and School Building Authority in 2016. In 2013, he became a member of the West Virginia Growth Investment, LLC, an investment group focused on supporting WV startups and fledgling businesses, showcasing his unwavering commitment to community growth and entrepreneurship in the state.

Wade currently resides in Fairmont, WV alongside his wife, Joyce. He has four children: Rhoda, Robert, Benn, and Dave along with four grandchildren: Molly, Maggie, Rob, and Ada.
